2006 Chrysler 300 Car Starts Will Shift Out Park Step On Brake Pedal

car starts but will not shift out of park. have to step on brake pedal to shift out of park(normal), but cannot move shifter from park. no warning, no signs of trouble prior to this. had her push or rock car forward and backward thinking it might be in a jam but no effect. any ideas?

check the brake light fuse as it controls the interlock

cool, it's my ex wife's car and i am 800 miles away. do u know the location of the brake light fuse?

it does not identify the fuse. have it checked with a test light. test every fuse
