I bought a used 2006 Chevy trailblazer and I noticed that the drivers side air vent was not blowing as hard as the others. I looked in the vent and the previous owner had put a clip-on air freshener in it. I used needle pliers to try and get it out, but it just pushed it back farther into the vent.

A wire hook may snag it and pull it out.

we tried using a hanger, but when we put it in there, we realized that the vent was fully opened and pushed it in farther. Is there any way we can pop off the vent and get it out?

never had to take one out, and the data base is blank on this, but normally, louver vents are just clicked in with a dimple like pin on the side, i would carefully try levering at the side, but if it does not look like moving do not force it, it may snap.
