We have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. Was in an accident damaged back drivers door since this happened it wont stay started it dies have tried checking codes and key recycle. What is going and what can we do Is this a security problem and how do we fix it?

If the security is the problem, the light should stay on. There is a chance that there was damage to the EVAP system. Check that and also make sure there are good body grounds. As far as cycling the key to get codes, you need a scanner. If your check engine light is on, get the computer scanned to find trouble codes. Many parts stores will lend or rent a scanner to you.
