I have 2006 tahoe and trying to change spark plugs. I have tried to pull out and not successful. It has a metal cover over the plug wire boot at spark plug. Do I need a special tool or what is the trick to get it out???????????

Those are ignition coils on top of the plugs and they needs to be unplugged and removed to access the plugs underneath.
