power locks started switching back and forth

While towing a trailer load of wood today, we were going up a hill and the RPM';s reached a high 4000 and all of a sudden the power locks started switching back and forth, locking and unlocking themselves and the radio display started flashing the lights and words on it dim, bright, dim, bright. What would make it do that just now? Thank you. April

check battery cables. bad connections can cause this. also check the alternator there should be 14.5 volts at the battery when running
