2006 Chevrolet Silverado lifter noise

The truck has a lifter noise at times when first starting up and will go away then will come back if you drive hard for a few miles keeps real good oil pressure was going to change lifter removed valve covers eng is vary clean on the inside found all passenger rockers clean and light in color but on drivers side the rockers are darker starting at number one cylinder and gets lighter going towards number 7 cylinder is there a problem somewhere I'm not seeing before I replace the lifters to stop the noise

the heads have to come off to replace the lifters and it could be a bad lifter. have a pro look at it for sure

I fixed this problem on my truck by changing the Oil Pump Inlet Tube O-Ring. The lifters are the first part that don't get enough oil after this o-ring breaks down. All Chevrolet mid 2000s era 5.3L O-Ring fails around 150-190K.
