car dash reading tells me engine power reduced?

I have a 2006 chevy Malibu LT.I was just checking my cigarette lighter fuse to see why it was not working ,and when I got done , I started my car back up?

My car dash reading tells me engine power reduced what does that mean please help me.

you need to get teh engine scanned to find the codeas to what is causing it
