2006 Chevrolet Malibu brake lights

My brake lights will come on while my foot is on the gas and I am driving. At first I checked my fuses and they were all ok. I do not know whether this is an electrical, or mechanical problem. I just know they come on whenever they feel like.

A fuse can't cause that. Something has to be wrong in the area of the brake light switch.
