2006 Chevrolet Impala Thumping Noise Under Dashboard Near Ac Unit Used Only

Thumping noise from under dashboard near ac unit, used to only start thumping when ac came on, now it starts as soon as the door opens. Also won't hold a charge recently.

That is most likely a stripped out air door actuator and the door is thumping against the stops.
