My Rpm jumps From 1200 To About 1500 While Cruising At A Set Speed. What Cause That? It Runs Like It Has Bad Gas Or something. Could It Be My Transmission Stopped Up Or Fuel Pump/Filter getting bad. I Can't Find The Fuel filter.

Hello,

When the RPM jumps like that it usually means the engine is misfiring and the computer is trying to compensate for the erratic performance. Here are some guides to help you get the problem fixed.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-tune-up-a-car-engine

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/throttle-actuator-service

And if that doesn't help then we need to scan the computer for codes to get us started int he right direction.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
