2006 Chevrolet Impala power steering pump pully noise

I replaced my power steering pump and after I started the car and a loud whinne raddled like noise coming from the pully. I stopped the car places my hands on the pully pulled back an forth and the pully moves a little. The center of the pully is flesh.

I assume you added fluid.

if the fluid is full and it whinning, it is air bound. turn the wheel to the extreme right and then to left several times as that will bleed the system. if that does not work, then the pump may be defective.
