My kids' car. They hit a curb HARD on the right front wheel. I have replaced the steering rack, half shaft, strut, knuckle, spindle, wheel bearing, control arm and sway bar link. The wheel seems to free spin with no transmission lock in park or any tension on the transmission in drive. Is it likely something is broke in the transmission? I cannot start the car yet because i am still waiting for the new oil pan

if the car hit that hard make sure axle shaft is in all the way it may not be then if not push it in you should hear the spring click when it is. It still could be trans damage as well however. You may have bent more than think and will find out when you get it aligned.
