Hi I have a 2006 hhr apparently chevy did away with the oil coolers on the engines in the later part of 2006 but my car has the oil cooler on the engine. My question is could I replace the engine with the 2.4l that doesn't have the oil cooler?

Even if it's not a add on? It was something that was on the original engine that was manufactured that way.
