2006 cobalt keyless

my keyless will not unlock my car but it will lock pop the trunk and set the alarm off what should i do?

Common for this to happen. Chances are the unlock button is worn so there is no fix except for replacement of the transmitter

Just to add this one you can try this take a coin and pop open the remote then remove the circuit board take a tissue and clean all the contact points the buttons touch on the circuit board.Then clean the button contacts themselves where they would touch the circuit board.More then likely you will find a lot of carbon build up causing a bad connection to the button.Put it back together and give it a try let me know if it works.
