Grinding noise from under carriage?

I'm hearing a grinding noise from my under carriage whenever I apply the brakes, normally well enough to stop at a stop light/sign. I've had my brakes inspected, and it doesn't seem to be the problem. It sounds like something is grinding or sounds like rubber rubbing against something.

you have brake issues and I would have them re examined. it sounds like you are metal on metal.
