What is causing a loud hum/whirr?

When on the highway, taking my foot off gas and/or braking. Turning to the right only. Both right and left cv axles have been replaced, as well as brakes and rotors.

A buzzing noise that sounds like an airplane engine is typical of a worn front wheel bearing assembly.

Just to add to this one if its heard when turning to the right its usually the left bearing. If you have a jack and jack stands I have a trick to tell if its the wheel bearing and if so which one it is.

Thanks for the info. A friend had suggested bearings, but my husband thought it was the axles, and replaced them first.
Have an appt. With the garage tomorrow. Good to know what it is ahead of time. Thanks again.

Your welcome thats what were here for. Without checking it dont know for sure but from the description sounds like possibly a wheel bearing.
