the upper intake has to be removed to gain acess to the coils and plugs. it is not an easy job.

Im not sure of engine litre size? If you have cop ignition, the ignition coil sits right on top of spark plug. After engine is cooled down, you might use compressed air to blow out the spark plug well, use safety glasses.

Take electrical connector loose from coil, remove mounting bolt/screw for coil, remove coil. Then you should be able to see spark plug. Then use spark plug socket--extention if needed and rachet.
