i put coolant as it was low thought was fine started it got heat but fan under hood sounded loud shut it off left it then later went to go start it no heat and fan sounded high the low and didn't feel water in the hose part from the reservior.

Maybe there is a leak, yes? Is there fluid under the car?

no leaks at all. could it be thermostat
