my 2006 bmw 325i suddenly started making an intermittent thump noise that seems like it is in the roof or in the drivers side door. The car can be idling or moving and the seems to be happening more frequently as today progressed while I tried to find a mechanic that could check it out. everthing was closed. I can hopefully find a bmw garage on Monday that is about 90 miles away. the noise is loud like the car just was hit by a snowball. At about the same time the radio has suddenly became muffled. A couple of times it came back with regular volume. I am not sure if the 2 are related. would appreciate any feedback-Mark
