slow turn over

I have 2006 bmw 325i and i have been having a difficult time turning the car on, every time I try to start it, it takes about 4-6 sec and it does that even if the cars engine is worm, my battery works great from what I see because it has a great start after the 5 sec turn over and the filter is pretty clean because my car seems to have a great acceleration.

Is it the original battery in the car, meaning battery has not been replaced? If it is original battery I would get the battery tested out (load test). 4 years old battery def could give you slow turn over.

I agree, the original equipment batteries are notorious for having a short life span.
