2006 Bmw 325i Cracked Hose Which Leaking Antifreeze Small Spot On Floor

We have a cracked hose in which we are leaking some antifreeze (can see a small spot on the floor). The inside of the car does not warm up - can the cracked hose cause this or does the t-stat need replacing as well?

The heat issue may be because of the T-stat or not, but I would fix the leak and allow the system to support a vigorous diagnonsis
