What was the actual code #? Sometimes there is more than one code for component/circuit. The code doesn't tell you what to replace, just that the computer thinks there is a problem on that circuit, somewhere.
What I found was an accelerator pedal position sensor.

I looked up the codes for throttle/pedal position sensor, all three said to check throttle control module.

Let me add a little bit here.
You have a "drive by wire" electronic throttle system. It has 2 throttle position sensors that are built right into the throttle control unit. When you have a problem with one of both of them, it generally requires replacing the entire throttle body.
