I have one original key. Can I program another key myself if I have only one original for this vehicle? If so, can I have the step by step procedures to program the key myself at home without the use of any special tools? I am hoping there is some sort of key on key off etc., procedure available. Thanks in advance.

Nissan doesn't make it that easy. The NVIS system requires the keys be programmed in using a scan tool or programmer. Most locksmiths can do that programming cheaper than the dealer.
