About how much should I expect to pay to replace PCV valve? Also, have read elsewhere that only turbo models require replacement; is that true? My car is not turbo.

XC70 shows only turbo on Alldata
Not sure if we can help you here.
Crankcase ventilation cleaning is possibly what we are dealing with and it is somewhat involved.

Agree with Dr. Hagerty. You can clean the PCV system. Who told you you needed a PCV valve and why do they want to replace it?
