i replaced the camshaft sensor and the car still has a knocking sound and wants to turn off,what could this knocking sound be i heard that it could be my timing belt is this true.after getting it read camshaft sensor code came up so i replaced it and now the car wants to turn off when i start it the knocking sound gets louder and the car starts to shake

It sounds like you had a check engine light, code pulled? What was that code?
Its possible the timing belt jumped a tooth.
What happened before the knocking noise started?
