2005 Volvo C70 whistle and blow

I have a Volvo C70 2.0T 2005 that has a turbo whistle and what i thought was an exhaust blow(as it sounds like a tractor)
Taken it to the garage and it has just passed its mot with no problem, So this cant be an exhaust blow? Also there does not appear to be any loss of performance so that would tell me the turbo is ok.
The garage would like it for a couple of days to investigate but this could be expensive time wasted without a clue as to what is wrong. Any advice please.

You should check out all the hose connectors for any cracks and check the blowoff valve too. It is probably something simple.
