grinding sound from both front sides undercarriage

I observed this problm on my gti recently bought..

The grinding sound occurs when moving off cold (i.e. Car jus started, hvnt warmed up)
Seems like theres something rubbing underneath in the front wheels...
After driving off for 2-3km, sound disappears...
I have chk on my rims, brakes, pads, disc... So this causes are eliminated..

Could u pls advise?

I would try to jack the car up and try to move the wheel up and down. See if there is any play there. If there is much at all it could be a wheel bearing problem.

Its possible for faulty wheel bearing to create grinding noise only when car is cold??? The weirdness of the problem, it only happens when car is cold, after driving for a while 2-3 km its gone..

Yes it is possible. It isn't likely, but it is an easy thing to check so I think it would be good to rule it out. This is just what I would do.

Hi there...

Wheel bearing has been verified no issues..
They have manage to find where the sound is coming from.
Standing at front left n right side of the fender, using both hands
To lift the fender upwards, it gives out a grinding noise.
It is present on both side of the fenders....

Workshop advise to go back to suspension supplier n try claim a new pair.
My suspension is using kw v1, bought 3 mths ago brand new...
MY car is lowered to 2 fingers gap, nt very low..

Workshop said they check e whole undercarriage, bushings are all good..
Wad are the other things i can xhk on before going to make s claim?
