is the simbole name I found in my cars book, and in display of my car shows: MOTORSTÖRG. Werkstatt


The simbole is down at the photo that I uploaded.
What is this problem or this simbole what does it mean, I drived my car 2-3km and this happened.

Could be as simple as the brake lights not working (I know, weird) or more involved. Something to do with the Injection System.

Is the vehicle in limp mode?

In any case, you need to have the Engine Computer scanned for fault codes. Depending on what the code is, further guesses can be made.

Limp Mode is when the Engine Computer defaults to a basic setting where there is just enough power to run the vehicle. Not full power.

Regardless of Limp Mode or not, you need to have the Engine Computer Scanned, to be able to do further diagnosis.

Like I said, you need to have the Engine Computer Scanned for fault codes to know anything further.

I had a Jetta TDi in the shop a couple days ago. Glow plug light was on.

Fault code stored was: intermittent fault with brake light switch

Replaced brake light switch.
