what is causing a clicking noise?

The noise is as per the indicators or hazard warning being on but no lights are on or flashing.
The hazard warning unit has been replaced but has not cured the problem.

Sorry but it is not a VW beetle.

It is a VW Bora.

you may have a circuit breaker or relay clicking on and off, you'll just have to see if you can find it in your fuse/relay panel. we dont' have any infofor this vehicle
