Hi my meriva has just recently began to over heat, needle going over the 90deg mark, normally in heavy traffic or sitting idle for couple of minutes. The real concern is the absence of fan use. I sat in the car when I got home and left the engine running to get the temp up and then opened the bonnet to check the fan and sure enough, nothing. Fluids are all fine (thought a lack of fluids might account for the over heating). What is going on with the fan?

Proberbly the fan temp sensor or the relay, unfortunately I do not have a wiring schematic for this model.

Thanks for the advice. Any ideas on where the relay is situated within the relay box?

On the relay cover there may be a pic of a fan, this should be it, do you have an owners manual? It should be in that as well.
