this has happened 3 times before truck starts and runs fine but on occasions ,you turn off the vehicle and it stays running,so I pull the fuel pump relay too stop the motor then I take the hot post cable off and put it back on and it will last 3or 4 days does that reset the brain if so what is the problem and how do I fix it

Check the ignition switch, it could be bad and not cutting off power supply.
