how to turn off "maintenance required" light (oil change reminder) after oil has been changed?

try this
To reset reminder light after engine oil replacement, turn ignition key to ACC or LOCK position with odometer reading showing. Turn ignition key to ON position while holding down trip meter RESET button. Hold trip meter RESET button down at least 5 seconds. Odometer will indicate 000000 and light will go out. If system fails to reset, the light will remain flashing.
