I recently did a overall inspection of my car. they complained few things which I am not sure about. I doubt if they are saying for their profit ? they complained
Timing chain cover gasket leak oil - I did the servicing couple of weeks back at some other mechanic
Water pump leak coolant
Radiator leak at top tank
Eng mount + Dog bone
trans case

I am wondering if I can verify these by myself to confirm if these are actually the problems or not. Please help me how can i verify these.

Thanks,
Deb

If you want to confirm it you will need to go under the vehicle, yes the timing chain cover on a Solara is a popular leak at that area,Or you can bring it to another shop I am sure most wont charge for looking

i agree, a second opinion would the way to go unless you have a lift, pressure tester for the cooling system and oil leak dye.
