The handle to open the read door has broken. I assume I need to pull the plastic panels off of the inside of the door in order to access the latching mechanism from inside of the vehicle. Any ideas how I get these panels off while the door is closed? Do I have any other options?

you can try to pull where the handle on the outside attaches and see if you can get the door open. otherwise you'll have to do it with the door closed. It may be a cable that the handle connects to. See pic

Turning the key in the passenger door only mechanically locks or unlocks the passenger door. No other doors are locked/unlocked, and the alarm system does not realize the car has been legitimately unlocked. Passenger-side inside door lock button does nothing. Drivers-side control of the passenger window does not work, but passenger-side window control does work. ECU-1G fuse is okay.

It could be one or more problem and I would sugest starting with checking the wires between the passenger door and frame for possible breaks. Have the door switch checked.

Hello,

It sounds like the latch got closed while the door is open. Here is a guide on how to fix it.

If this doesnt work you need to replace the lock/latch assemble which the instruction are in the diagrams below.
