My passenger side headlight would go out when I start it up. Then I would have to adjust the the bulb and would light up. Is this a connection problem? Once the I do this, it would light up for a while. Then next day when I start the car up, the light would be out again. I would have to adjust the bulb again to get the light back on.

you should never have to adjust the bulb.

does not make sense. is it mounted correctly

Most probably the connectors are loose or bad.
