Engine shut off at stop sign

This is the Swift model. Engine quit running at stop sign. Would start again after I stop the engine on took the key out.

'The car has previous same problem, two to three times in six month, but yesterday has stopped six times in thirty minutes. My mechanic replaced the timing belt in June month that year as it was stretched "a little bit'.
