2005 Saturn Relay Wrong Transmission Sensor New Transmission Put Park

what is wrong with my transmission, is it a sensor or do i need a new transmission? i put it in park for about 10 minutes then i went to put it in drive and all i get is reving the transmission is not engaging to go i tried all gears including reverse and i get nothing.
