traction control failure contact service

my car will only start when cold, if i do a short run it wont start and throws up traction control failure on the sid i had it connected to a computer and it says theres a fault with the sterring control module and that theres a can bus error anyone now anything on how to fix this?

When it doesn't start, check to see if there is fuel and spark to the engine.

sorry when i say the car wont start i mean when i turn the key i get nothing it wont even turn over the engine light wont come on on the dashboard once i get that light up it starts could it possibly a faulty cim

Have you checked to make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight?
