Cayenne Engine light, rough ride

I have an 2005 Cayenne S with 48000 miles. the engine light just came on, and the ride is rough. In "R" reverse, the car vibrates heavily. when accelerate from 3rd gear to 4th to 5th to 6th gear the car also vibrates. any suggustions? Thanks.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.

Have the ignition coils checked.
