2005 Pontiac Vibe. The blower motor comes on and off when I hit bumps. Generally doesn't work at all. Obviously a short, but where do I start looking? Is this common on this car? Thanks.

That is most likely a bad blower motor. The next time it happens, grab a large screwdriver by the blade and rap the motor with the handle. If the motor comes on, it is bad and needs replacement.
