Question about a car alarm?

I have a viper alarm system and it is turned on, then when I open the door with a key without disabling the alarm first it sets the alarm off. Will starting the car turn the alarm off?

no normally you have to stop it with the key fob. there should be instructions for other times to shut it off though. if you don't have any go to their website they probably will have them posted there.
