The switch that controls the ac clutch wont allow the compressor to run of the pressure is too low or too high. Its most likely doing its job what are the high and low ac pressures with the car off?

Most of the gm cars have one switch which they refer to as a high/switch which turns off the ac compressor if the pressure gets too low or too high. So do you have manual ac controls or auto climate control?
