My car races upto 2000rpm when started. Sometimes turning the car off and on will lower it. I will drive my car but constantly races at 1000 -1500 rpms at stop lights . When I put into park it shoots up to 2000rpms and I turn it off quick. Then go through the process of tuning it off and on until it lowers the rpms so I can drive. The latest problem of starting the car on and off it drains the battery and need a boost. It has cost me $2000. so far. New Iac, new starter,new battery. Earlier new chip put in the transmission. Still not corrected,and service engine soon light comes on. ANY IDEAS PLEASE!
