I have a pontiac grand am, I turned the blinker on and when it went off a continuous clicking sound occurred. The sound was still there when I turned off the car and started it back up. What is causing this clicking sound?

You are going to need to replace the turn signal/multifunction switch. What has happened is that the contacts inside are weak and are allowing the flasher to keep operating.
