my car wont turn over and no lights come on

I have tried jumping it and it seems to do no good. what do you think the problem might be? i went out today to get in the car and nothing would work so i tried jumping it and it still didn't do any good.

I know you tried jumping it but did you have the battery tested yet?Also make sure the battery cables are clean and tight?
