2005 Pontiac G6 Map Light On Right Push Side Get Turn On There Spring Inside

The map light on the right - I can not push the side of the light to get it to turn on. Is there a spring inside or does the bulb just need to be changed. The map ight does come on when I open the doors.

try pushing it in the middle to see if it will work . if not refer to your operators manual in your glove box if you have a manual
