i am getting a knocking sound when i turn on the AC in my car

When i turn on the AC i get the knocking sound behing the center console. i stays on for about 2 minutes and goes away and comes back randomly. it is a constant knocking sound it never increases the knocking pattern when i accelerate. it even comes when i the shift is in parking.

You need to open it up and investigate to find out-could be an door actuator problem

could be HVAC vent motor.
