I have a 2005 Nissan Maxima that will not start. Engine cranks. There is fuel in the tank, but gauge reads empty.

Have you checked if you are getting spark and fuel to the engine?

What I need you to do is go to our home page. Select the "How To" section. Then under that are tabs for checking both fuel pressure and spark. The only thing you will need is a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend them to you. Check those and I'm sure you will find one isn't working. Let me know which one it is.
