truck will not go into 4 wheel drive?

The truck will not go into 4 wheel drive.There is a light on the dash that reads slip. What does this light mean and where is the sensor located for the slip warning?

Hello, I'm Danny.

As far as the light on your dash regarding the four wheel drive system it would be best to perform a CAN scan - Controller Area Network to check all the systems on your vehicle. This will include the transfer case, transmission, and differentials. Here is a tutorial showing how to perform this:
