What is the proper valve cover torque specs for this car? I know you have to torque in 2 stages, but the difference in torque specs is quite a big difference.

I would like a definite torque number and not "torque between 6 and 26 in lbs" answer if possible.

Thanks

Hello,

I have found some diagrams and some diagrams (below) to help you get the job done. This guide will give you an idea on how to do it. The diagrams below is on your car. (The torque is in inch pounds)

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-valve-cover-gasket

Rocker cover bolt tightening 1st step : 1.0 - 2.9 Nm (0.1 - 0.3 kg-m, 9 - 26 inch lbs.)
Rocker cover bolt tightening 2nd step: 7.4 - 9.3 Nm (0.75 - 0.95 kg-m, 65 - 82 inch lbs.)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
